Team Spotlight: AgroData – Revolutionizing Sustainable Farming with AI

As we gear up for the InnovImpact Incubator Demo Day on 12 July 2025 at 9 PM GMT+8, we’re excited to spotlight one of our groundbreaking startup teams: AgroData from Latin America.

Who is AgroData?

AgroData is an AI-powered Agritech platform on a mission to empower farmers across Latin America. With a passionate team of innovators—Milton Duque Cano, Adriana Lorena La Rotta Espinosa, Joaquina Migueles Irigoyen, Ángel Alberto García Cárdenas, and David Esteban Marquez Bayona—AgroData is tackling one of agriculture’s biggest challenges: crop loss due to disease and poor diagnostics.

What do they do?

Using cutting-edge artificial intelligence, AgroData offers:

🌱 Accurate crop diagnostics
🌞 Personalized, data-driven farming recommendations
🌎 Tools to promote sustainable agricultural practices

Their app can predict diseases in potatoes with 90% accuracy and forecast orange crop yields with 95% confidence—providing farmers with the insights they need to act quickly, reduce waste, and maximize productivity.

Why does it matter?

In regions where farming is both a livelihood and a backbone of local economies, AgroData’s technology is more than just smart—it’s transformative. By helping farmers make better, faster decisions, AgroData is contributing to food security, economic empowerment, and climate resilience.
