Demo Day Partner Spotlight: OneValley – Empowering the Next Generation

An exclusive interview with Sabah Baxamoosa, OneValley’s Director of Business Development

At PIM, our mission is to empower early-stage, impact-driven entrepreneurs with the tools, networks, and knowledge they need to create lasting change. This year, we were thrilled to have OneValley as a valued sponsor for Demo Day, extending “Passport,” their world-class innovation platform to every founder in attendance. From funding opportunities to exclusive perks in legal, accounting, design, and cloud services, OneValley’s support is more than a benefit-it’s a launchpad for ideas that can change the world.

A Shared Vision for Global Impact

OneValley’s mission resonates deeply with PIM’s objectives: to empower entrepreneurs everywhere with the resources, tools, and connections they need to thrive. What began as a physical incubator space has evolved into a comprehensive global platform that supports founders from idea to scale, with a particular focus on early-stage, pre-seed ventures-exactly the demographic that PIM champions.

OneValley globalizes access to startup ecosystems, mentors, investors, and enterprise tools, making it an ideal partner for our mission to support entrepreneurs who are tackling meaningful problems.

As Sabah shared during our conversation:

“If you stay focused on your beneficiaries as your North Star, it becomes possible to build a company that balances both profit and purpose. That’s where true sustainability lies.”

This belief mirrors PIM’s own philosophy: social impact and economic sustainability are not opposing forces-they are essential partners in building scalable change.

Why Sustainability Matters for Social Impact

A powerful takeaway from our partnership with OneValley is their unwavering belief that sustainability is the lifeline of social impact ventures. Drawing from her nonprofit experience, Sabah highlighted a critical truth:

“Too often, funding is a question mark year after year- without sustainability, it’s nearly impossible to keep doing the great work you’ve started.”

Her insight echoes PIM’s own philosophy: lasting change demands ventures that are both socially impactful and commercially viable. As Sabah emphasized:

“The future belongs to companies that unite profit with purpose. For too long, business models have overlooked the true cost to people and the planet. Today, sustainability is no longer optional-it is the foundation for lasting success and meaningful impact.”

Supporting Student Founders: Leaders of Tomorrow

Sabah believes student entrepreneurs will “fix a lot of the mistakes earlier generations have made.” But passion alone isn’t enough-they need infrastructure, safe spaces for experimentation, and ways to measure impact beyond revenue.

OneValley’s support for student founders goes beyond platitudes. The platform provides:

  • Perks Marketplace to lower startup burn rates
  • Mentor matching
  • Startup-friendly tools and community visibility
  • Resources covering product development, leadership, customer acquisition, and finance

The Four P’s Framework for Founders

One of the most compelling aspects of our partnership with OneValley is their leadership philosophy, which Sabah describes through two complementary “Four P’s” lenses.

The first, OneValley’s startup-focused 4 P’s – People, Product, Potential, and Predictability-serve as a practical framework for building strong entrepreneurial foundations: nurturing the right teams (People), creating impactful solutions (Product), identifying growth opportunities (Potential), and ensuring sustainable progress (Predictability).

The second, Sabah’s personal guiding philosophyProduct, Profit, Purpose, and Partnership – embodies the balance between commercial success and social impact that PIM also champions.

Together, these frameworks guide OneValley’s approach, which spans a robust digital platform, innovation center collaborations, a venture arm investing in enterprise AI and B2B SaaS, and strategic services that streamline accelerator and incubator operations.

Her advice to young founders:

“You’ll face a hundred ‘no’s, but persistence, grit, and evidence-based problem-solving will take you forward. Match your passion and purpose with the discipline of execution, and you can change the world.”

Looking Ahead

PIM and OneValley share a vision of creating inclusive innovation ecosystems that empower the next generation of leaders. Together, we aim to ensure that student and emerging founders not only dream big but also have the infrastructure, mentorship, and opportunities to turn those dreams into impactful realities.

As Sabah concluded our interview: “What will take them far is definitely passion and purpose, but ultimately it’s the discipline of execution. If they are able to match their passion and purpose with the discipline of execution, they’ll be able to change the world.”

At PIM, we couldn’t agree more.
